| Cameron school bonds upgraded |
The bond rating for the Cameron School District has been upgraded by Standard and Poor’s Rating Service from a BBB+ to an A+. A higher bond rating leads to lower interest rates for the district. Interest rates could be lowered by .20%-.30% or a savings of from $12,000 to $15,000 on the upcoming borrowing of $1,000,000.
